Administered every 2-3 years, typically to first-years and seniors.<br class=\"none\" \/><br class=\"none\" \/><\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/wp.stolaf.edu\/iea\/heds-new-student-survey\/\">HEDS New Student Survey<\/a><\/strong>: This survey is designed and administered by the Higher Education Data Sharing (HEDS) Consortium and prompts new students to reflect on their concerns, motivations, and goals for college. The primary purpose of the survey is to encourage conversation between students and their advisors\/mentors. Administered annually in the fall to new incoming first-years and transfer students.<br class=\"none\" \/><br class=\"none\" \/><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/wp.stolaf.edu\/iea\/heds-sense-of-community\/\"><strong>HEDS Sense of Community Survey<\/strong><\/a>: This survey is designed and administered by the Higher Education Data Sharing (HEDS) Consortium and asks students (as well as staff and faculty) the extent to which they feel a sense of community at St. Olaf as well as what experiences promote or diminish their sense of community. First administered in Spring 2025; planned administration every 3 years.<br class=\"none\" \/><br class=\"none\" \/><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/wp.stolaf.edu\/title-ix\/st-olaf-statistics\/campus-climate-survey\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>HEDS Sexual Assault Campus Climate Survey<\/strong><\/a>: This survey is designed and administered by the Higher Education Data Sharing (HEDS) Consortium and asks students about their perceptions of their campus&#8217;s climate for unwanted sexual contact and sexual assault; their perceptions of how their institution responds to reports of sexual assault; and whether and how often they have experienced unwanted sexual contact or sexual assault. Administered every 3 years to all students.
