FSSE is a project of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cpr.indiana.edu\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Indiana University Center for Postsecondary Research<\/a> and is administered in tandem with the <a href=\"https:\/\/nsse.indiana.edu\/nsse\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"post-1657 page type-page status-publish hentry entry\">\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p>In addition to the core <a href=\"https:\/\/wp.stolaf.edu\/iea\/files\/2021\/10\/FSSE21_Instrument_Final.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FSSE questionnaire (Spring 2021)<\/a>, St. Olaf also administered the <a href=\"https:\/\/wp.stolaf.edu\/iea\/files\/2021\/10\/Academic-advising_-Topical-Modules_-FSSE.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Academic Advising<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/wp.stolaf.edu\/iea\/files\/2021\/10\/Inclusiveness_Topical-Modules_FSSE.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Inclusiveness &amp; Engagement with Cultural Diversity<\/a> modules to parallel those sent to students as part of the NSSE.<\/p>\n<p><em>FSSE was completed in Spring 2021 by 123 St. Olaf teaching faculty (47% of those <\/em><em>with an FTE of 0.5 or greater and at least 0.67 of their workload assigned to teaching or organized activity). <\/em><\/p>\n<h2>Summary Results<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/wp.stolaf.edu\/assessment-committee\/files\/2021\/09\/2020-21-BCSSE-NSSE-FSSE-HEDS-Alumni-report-FINAL.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Report to the Board of Regents<\/a><br \/>\nThe academic Assessment Committee prepares a report to the Board of Regents in the Fall detailing the results of surveys administered the prior year. The report linked above includes results from the 2021 FSSE, as well as two companion surveys administered that year, the <a href=\"https:\/\/wp.stolaf.edu\/iea\/beginning-college-survey-of-student-engagement-bcsse\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">BCSSE<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/wp.stolaf.edu\/iea\/nsse-results-and-reports\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NSSE<\/a>, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/wp.stolaf.edu\/iea\/heds-alumni-survey\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">HEDS Alumni Survey<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Detailed Results<\/h2>\n<p>As of the latest FSSE administration, all results (including those from prior years) are reported on an interactive Tableau dashboard created by staff at the Indiana University Center for Postsecondary Research.
