The statements below represent our shared aspirations for our students, and serve as a springboard for our efforts to assess and improve the education we offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/wp.stolaf.edu\/curriculum-committee\/ole-core-curriculum\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Outcomes for the OLE Core<\/a><br \/><\/strong>The St. Olaf faculty has specified outcomes for each of the requirements comprising the college&#8217;s OLE Core (general education) curriculum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/wp.stolaf.edu\/curriculum-committee\/ilo-all\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Outcomes for majors, concentrations, and other academic programs<\/strong><\/a><br \/>Each academic department and program, as well as a number of centers and offices providing supplementary academic programs and services, has developed a statement of intended learning outcomes for each major, concentration, conversation, or other academic program it offers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a title=\"Developing effective statements of intended learning outcomes\" href=\"https:\/\/wp.stolaf.edu\/iea\/developing-effective-statements-of-intended-learning-outcomes\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Developing and using statements of intended learning outcomes<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Intended learning outcomes (ILOs) describe the knowledge, proficiencies, practices, and commitments that students should develop as a consequence of their St. Olaf experience.
