{"id":53,"date":"2016-06-08T14:09:41","date_gmt":"2016-06-08T19:09:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wp.stolaf.edu\/international-student-immigration\/?page_id=53"},"modified":"2023-08-17T09:53:40","modified_gmt":"2023-08-17T14:53:40","slug":"concurrent-enrollment","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/wp.stolaf.edu\/international-student-immigration\/concurrent-enrollment\/","title":{"rendered":"Concurrent Enrollment"},"content":{"rendered":"<div data-modular-content-collection><p>F-1 students are eligible for simultaneous enrollment with a combination of courses at St. Olaf College and another college or university, only if approved by their Dean and Caitlin Lamont Kreienkamp, PDSO. <strong>Source:<\/strong> 8CFR:214.2[f][6][iv]<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #4d4d4f;\">Students must be registered for at least one credit at St. Olaf College during all terms including the final term.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #4d4d4f;\">Students who wish to be admitted, enroll, and go to classes full time at an institution other than St. Olaf need to request a transfer to the new institution.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #4d4d4f;\">Eligibility Requirements<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #4d4d4f;\">An F-1 student may apply to enroll concurrently at \u00a0St. Olaf and another SEVIS-approved school provided that all of the following conditions are met:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #4d4d4f;\">The combined credits for which the student is enrolled are the equivalent of a full course of study (i.e., 3 credits.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #4d4d4f;\">The student must be enrolled [taking classes] at St. Olaf College.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #4d4d4f;\">The student has permission from Caitlin to concurrently enroll with another institution.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #4d4d4f;\">Course work at the other school may not be vocational and must be accepted as credits transferable to St. Olaf.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #4d4d4f;\">Caitlin will issue a new I-20 documenting the concurrent enrollment, based on evidence that the student&#8217;s enrollment in both institutions is the equivalent of a full course of study.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #4d4d4f;\">How to Apply for Concurrent Enrollment-<\/span>If you are interested in concurrent enrollment, please make an appointment with <a href=\"https:\/\/calendar.app.google\/h6vBS1G3DrPyHwDQA\">Caitlin Lamont Kreienkamp<\/a>.
