Award based on: A 3000-4000 word essay on an ethical issue
Award amounts: 1 award each at $5,000, $2,500, $1,500 and 2 awards at $500

Michael Hakeem Memorial College Essay Contest
Administered by: Freedom from Religion Foundation
Eligibility: Currently enrolled undergraduate college student through age 24, including but not limited to college seniors graduating in the spring or summer 2015, attending a North American college or university
Award based on: Essay competition with varying theme from year to year, but with a topic centered around the separation of church and state or free thought
Award amounts: $300 – $2,000
