The International Support Committee consists of staff members from the Taylor Center, Admissions, Center for Advising and Academic Support, Development, Financial Aid, and the Piper Center.\u00a0 We review and make recommendations concerning the international student life experience at St. Olaf College. Caitlin ensures St. Olaf international students understand and comply with all governmental regulation relating to their F-1 or J-1 visa status. In addition, she supports international students as they navigate U.S. taxes, health insurance, and employment opportunities while they study at St. Olaf College.<\/p>\n

Anne works with students whose first language is not English. She provides strategies and support as the students continue to improve their conversational and academic mastery of the English language.<\/p>\n

Anne provides writing support for students in FYS120 (Writing Intensive First-Year Seminar) and also coordinates the Conversation Partner program in the Center for Advising and Academic Support.<\/p>\n

Jenny coordinates international recruitment and admissions for St. Olaf and you have most likely already been in contact with her through the application process. Jenny issues the initial I-20 and assists as students prepare to attend St. Olaf. In the Fall, she travels extensively meeting prospective students and families around the world.<\/p>\n

Jenny is on campus for the rest of the year to work with students as they apply for admission and financial aid. You are welcome to contact Jenny if your I-20 is still in process, have financial concerns, or if you have other questions related to your time at St. Olaf.<\/p>\n
