Incoming students who hold a U.S. passport but have lived abroad prior to arriving to St. Olaf are strongly encouraged to attend.\u00a0 International Student Orientation is held prior to the college&#8217;s campus-wide New Student Orientation program.<br \/>\n<!-- The following information is for the 2015 International Student Orientation. Can I arrive before this day?<\/h3>\n<p>The Taylor Center will provide transportation from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) the day BEFORE the start of International Student Orientation, ONLY on TUESDAY, AUGUST 26TH.\u00a0 You NEED to complete the ISO registration form, in order to secure transportation to campus.<\/p>\n<p>While international students can arrive in the U.S. up to 30 days prior to the program start date on their Form I-20\/DS-2019, transportation and on-campus housing <strong>will only be available from<\/strong> <strong>the day prior to ISO<\/strong>.\u00a0<!--All new international students should arrive at St. Olaf College on Tuesday, August 30, 2016. \u00a0Students arriving by air should book flights to arrive at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) on Tuesday, August 30th. CMIE will provide transportation from the airport to campus throughout the day <strong>on this day only. <!--<b>Please complete the <a href=\"http:\/\/pages.stolaf.edu\/internationalstudents\/arrival-information-form\/\">Arrival Form <\/a>by August 1st\u00a0so that a shuttle schedule can be arranged.\u00a0Housing is not available at the college before August 30th (except for students involved in pre-season athletics).--&gt;--><\/p>\n<h3><a id=\"ref3\"><\/a>What to do when you arrive to the MSP airport?<\/h3>\n<p>When you arrive at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) proceed to the Coffee lounge in the domestic baggage claim area &#8211; located in Lindberg Terminal (Terminal 1).\u00a0 Here you can make sure you have gathered all of your belongings, take a short break, and wait for the shuttle bringing you to campus.\u00a0 We will have International Student Counselors by baggage claim to welcome you!<\/p>\n<h3><a id=\"ref4\"><\/a>What airline is recommended?<\/h3>\n<p>We do not have a recommended airline, but note that\u00a0Delta Airlines\u00a0does have daily flights to Minneapolis from Amsterdam, London, Toronto,\u00a0and Tokyo.<\/p>\n<p><!--Plan to arrive on campus between 10:00 am - 6:00 pm on August 30th\u00a0and check-in at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stolaf.edu\/visiting\/maps\/\">Buntrock Commons Crossroads. Some students, such as language exchange students, might stay in Larson Hall until their Residential Learning Community becomes available.<\/p>\n<h3><a id=\"ref9\"><\/a>Who will my roommate(s) be?<\/h3>\n<p>During the summer you will receive information about your residence hall and roommate(s) from the <a href=\"https:\/\/wp.stolaf.edu\/residencelife\/\">Residence Life Office<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3><a id=\"ref10\"><\/a>What happens after International Student Orientation?<\/h3>\n<p>The rest of the incoming class arrives on campus for New Student Orientation the day after International Student Orientation ends.
