Latin American Studies Major<\/strong><\/p>\n

Intended Learning Outcomes<\/strong><\/p>\n

Students will demonstrate: <\/em><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. acquisition of foundational knowledge relating to historical, political, social, geographic, and economic conditions in Latin America.<\/li>\n
  2. critical analysis of ideas, evidence, and arguments relating to topics relevant to Latin America.<\/li>\n
  3. sufficient written and oral proficiency in Spanish to research, discuss and write about topics relevant to Latin America.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
