Combining these departments allows for the efficient exchange of knowledge and provides opportunities for enhancing our impact on students by collaborating on new and innovative methods for teaching and learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">LITS unites a rich array of library resources, technical expertise, scholarly research, and passionate, friendly staff to support a curious, innovative culture at St. Olaf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What We Do<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Partner with faculty to produce graduates with the information and digital literacy skills to foster lifelong learning.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide balanced physical and digital library collections to support our rigorous liberal arts curriculum.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Empower the community to make use of digital resources and technologies for teaching, learning, and daily work.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Preserve the college\u2019s historical and unique collections and make them available to our community and scholars worldwide<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strive to provide our community with a reliable, simple, yet robust campus infrastructure that is on the leading, not bleeding edge of technology.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Who We Are Library and IT Services (LITS) is a blended organization that strives to provide exceptional services that support the mission of the college.
