The Libraries and IT (LITS) fully support and are committed to the college\u2019s efforts to create and maintain an environment in which all members of the St. Olaf community \u2014 students, faculty, and staff \u2014 are treated with respect and dignity, free from bias and harassment.*<\/strong> <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

In 2019 LITS created a multi-year diversity, equity and inclusion plan to demonstrate our commitment to these efforts. The plan activities spanned all areas of LITS. This plan was shared among the LITS staff, the Council on Equity and Inclusion, and the Academic Division Deans and Directors. In November of that year a team of six LITS staff were asked to serve on the inaugural LITS DEI Team. The team was created to work with the CIO to help manage the DEI projects and initiatives and lead DEI discussions at staff meetings.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
