The Lutheran Center is excited to welcome Rev. Heidi Neumark to campus on Tuesday, March 15<\/strong>! Rev. Neumark is the author of Hidden Inheritance: Family Secrets, Memory, and Faith, <\/em>which was this winter’s All-Community Read. Rev. Neumark will be engaging in a variety of events with the St. Olaf community throughout the day. We are excited to be partnering with the Jewish Community Relations Council of Minnesota and the Dakotas<\/a> on events during her visit!<\/p>\n

Responses to The Making Known\u00a0<\/em>exhibition<\/a> (co-sponsored by Flaten Art Museum)<\/b><\/h4>\n

Rev. Neumark and a representative from the Jewish Community Relations Council of Minnesota and the Dakotas<\/a> will discuss and offer responses to The Making Known, an exhibition in the Flaten Art Museum that attends to the ethical questions that arise from the Tetlie Collection of World War II Propaganda Posters<\/a>. This event is free and open to the public (dependent on COVID campus guidelines) with an option for a dinner immediately following the program. Registration is encouraged but not required.

Join Rev. Neumark for a panel discussion with Steve Hunegs, Executive Director of the Jewish Community Relations Council<\/a>, and Deanna Thompson, Lutheran Center Director. This event is free and open to the public (dependent on COVID campus guidelines) and will also be live-streamed<\/a>. Registration is encouraged but not required.
