Since graduating, he has attended seminary and is currently working on a New Testament PhD in the Classical and Near Eastern Studies Department at the University of Minnesota. After receiving his MDiv at Luther Seminary, St. Paul, he began his PhD work in the Classical and Near Eastern Studies Department at the University of Minnesota, where he is currently writing his thesis. A first generation Cambodian-American, Kristofer is on track to become, to his knowledge, the first person of Cambodian descent to receive a PhD in biblical studies.
