St. Olaf Magazine earned eight \u201cExcellence Awards\u201d at the 20th annual Minnesota Magazine & Publishing Association Excellence Awards gala. In the Education category, the magazine was recognized with Gold awards in feature writing and feature design for \u201c<\/em>La G\u00e9ographie Musicale de Paris 1924<\/em><\/a>\u201d (The Musical Geography of Paris 1924) by Joel Hoekstra, Silver for \u201cThe Power of Story<\/a>\u201d by Jan Hill, and Bronze for Overall Excellence, Overall Design, Spread Design (\u201cVintage Cuba<\/a>\u201d), Regular Column (\u201cAlmanac<\/a>\u201d), and Cover Design. And, for the second time, <\/em>St. Olaf Magazine was named a semi-finalist for the MMPA 2016 Magazine of the Year award.<\/em><\/p>\n
