It is an honor to be a pastor to college students. The worship life at St. Olaf is vibrant and I enjoy having conversations with students about every matter of college life. I love music and am actively engaged in a number of writing projects. Most recently, I contributed commentaries on The Gospel of Matthew and Hebrews in The T&T Clark Social Identity Commentary on the New Testament. In the fall of 2023, I wrote Hebrews: A Social Identity Commentary (forthcoming, T&T Clark). In addition, Pastor Katie Fick and I published Unscheduled Grace: 40 Devotions and Prayers for College Students (2023, Sparkhouse). I live in Northfield with my wife, Sarah, and our two daughters, Noa and Greta.
