Welcome!<\/h2>\n

St. Olaf provides a comprehensive education in music with deep roots in the liberal arts. Oles find a distinguished and committed faculty, a rich and challenging curriculum, outstanding performance opportunities, and a large community of talented and intelligent student musicians.<\/p>\n

In a campus community of 3,000 students, one-third of students participate in one of our many music ensembles or take private lessons. All students regardless of major are able to apply for and be awarded music scholarships. We strongly recommend students intending to major in music to apply for direct admission to the music program through this process. The Music Application is due at the time of your Common Application (Early Decision 1 & Early Action: November 1, Early Decision 2 & Regular Decision: January 15) for both scholarship and music major applicants.<\/p>\n
