All music major applicants will be automatically considered for scholarships.<br \/>Non-music major applicants should submit the same repertoire as required for the BA music majors.<br \/>We would like to encourage you to consider a work by composers from historically underrepresented groups.<\/p>\n<p><strong>B.A. music major, music education, non-music major<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>TWO CONTRASTING PIECES (about 5-10 minutes total)<\/li>\n<li>OPTIONAL \u2014 PICCOLO\u00a0 Feel free to include one short work on piccolo.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>B.M. performance major<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>TWO CONTRASTING PIECES (about 5-10 minutes total)<\/li>\n<li>SCALES \u2014 slurred and\/or tongued, from your lowest to highest range and back down, with your choice of starting and ending pitches:<br \/>1. Chromatic<br \/>2.
