All music major applicants will be automatically considered for scholarships.<br \/>Non-music major applicants should submit the same repertoire as required for the BA music majors.<br \/>We would like to encourage you to consider a work by composers from historically underrepresented groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>B.A. music major, music education, non-music major<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\n<p>Any 2.5\u20145 minute selection from a standard concerto or recital piece<br \/>such as those by Mozart, F. Strauss, R. Strauss, Arnold, etc.<br \/>Unaccompanied solos and selections from newer or under-represented<br \/>repertoire are also acceptable.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li> <p>Two contrasting etudes\u2014choose from any of the following: Pottag; Kopprasch or Maxime-Alphonse Books 3,4,5, or 6<\/p> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\n<p>One Major scale, 2\u20143 octaves in eighth notes as fast as can be<br \/>performed cleanly<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>B.M. performance major<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\n<p>Any 2.5\u20145 minute selection from a standard concerto or recital piece<br \/>such as those by Mozart, F.
