About the Natural Lands<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Natural Lands encompasses approximately 430 acres of land adjacent to St. Olaf College. While fragments of existing habitat make up portions of the Natural Lands, a vast majority of the land that is now forests, prairies, and wetlands was restored from agricultural land. The Natural Lands serves as vital habitat to native flora and fauna, and a place of research, recreation, and relaxation to the St. Olaf and Northfield community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
