WELCOME TO YOUR NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION EXPERIENCE!

To help prepare you for life as an Ole, we have cultivated three modules for you to engage with before coming to campus. Based on the three focus areas of New Student Orientation, these modules are built to provide a scaffolded approach to welcoming you to our community and helping you collect the knowledge and tools needed to succeed in and out of the classroom at St. Olaf.

HOW TO ACCESS THE MODULES

  1. Click on the yellow button below.
  2. Log in to Moodle (Living in Community and Academics module) or Presence (Co-Curricular Involvement module) with your St. Olaf email and password.
  3. Complete the module!

Living in Community

As an Ole, you are a part of a diverse, vibrant community that brings together people from all over the globe. In this module you will be introduced to what it means to be a member of the St. Olaf community, the high standards that we hold ourselves and each other to, and how each of us is responsible for investing in our community both on and off the Hill.

Academics

St. Olaf is proud of its rigorous academic experience. As an Ole, you will be challenged to think critically using a lens informed by a liberal arts education. In this module, we will talk through the process of registering for your classes, you’ll have the chance to learn about our academic programs, and get a glimpse into the resources available to you to support your academic pursuits.

Co-Curricular Involvement

From music to intramurals, volunteering opportunities to student organizations, there are countless ways for Oles to get involved on and off-campus. In this module, you will be introduced to the resources available to you within the Division of Student Life, learn about various involvement opportunities, and start to think about how to fit your activities into your St. Olaf experience.
