Current offerings:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">NORW 296: Internship<br \/>\nNORW 205: FLAC: Nature<br \/>\nNORW 244: FLAC: Sami<br \/>\nISS Grammar or nynorsk course<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cultural and Historical Perspectives (in English):<\/strong><br \/>\n____ 1 course which critically examines Nordic diversity, inequality and social justice<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Current offerings:<br \/>\nNORW 244: S\u00e1mi: Traditions in Transition<br \/>\nNORW 224: Rewriting Nordic identity<br \/>\nENVST 283: Journeys: Literature of the North<br \/>\nNORST 264: Explorations of Gender and Sexuality<br \/>\nPSYCH 232: Gender Equality in Norway<br \/>\nNORST 277: Islamic Communities in Scandinavia<\/p>\n<p>____ 1 course which examines the Nordic languages from a comparative perspective<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Current offerings:<br \/>\nNORW 260: Germanic Linguistics<br \/>\nProposed for Spring 2022: Germanic Multiethnolects<\/p>\n<p>____ 2 additional courses course from approved list (many from across the college)<\/p>\n<p>____ 1 300 level course<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">NORST or NORW 396 (DUR)<br \/>\nNORST or NORW 398 (IR)<br \/>\n**** Rand Scholar (IR) in some cases<\/p>\n<p>Notes: Students completing both the Norwegian and the Nordic Studies Major must have at<br \/>\nleast 15 total courses.
