{"id":10,"date":"2014-07-28T09:39:58","date_gmt":"2014-07-28T14:39:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wp.stolaf.edu\/olecard\/?page_id=10"},"modified":"2023-06-07T08:30:07","modified_gmt":"2023-06-07T13:30:07","slug":"faq","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/wp.stolaf.edu\/olecard\/faq\/","title":{"rendered":"A few frequently asked questions:"},"content":{"rendered":"<div data-modular-content-collection><p><strong><span class=\"heading5\">Are there charges or maintenance fees for the Ole Card?<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\nThe only cost is a $25 replacement fee when you need to replace a lost or damaged card.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span class=\"heading5\">How can I check the balance in my account?<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\nYour card balance will be shown on the card-reader display and on a receipt after each transaction.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Is there a maximum dollar amount that can be deposited onto my card?<\/strong><br \/>\nThe maximum value that is allowed on the card at any given time is $2,000.00. \u00a0Therefore, you can not add any funds that will make your card balance exceed that threshold.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Am I able to withdraw funds from my Ole Card?<\/strong><br \/>\nCash withdrawls from your card are not possible.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span class=\"heading5\">What can I do with unused account balances?<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\nThe Flex Dollar balance must be used during the semester when the meal plan is active, or the balance will be lost. The Ole Dollars account is closed following a student&#8217;s graduation or formal withdrawal from St. Olaf. Remaining balances are credited to the student&#8217;s tuition and fees account.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span class=\"heading5\">Will my Ole Card work as a credit or ATM card?<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\nNo. The card is similar to a check card that accesses debit accounts, but at specified locations only.
