Meredith Varie<\/strong> has a chapter published in “Creativity and Philosophy”, edited by Berys Gaut and Matthew Kieran (published by Routledge). The chapter was a joint effort with Charles Taliaferro.<\/p>\n

I am living and working in St. Paul, Minnesota at a private humanitarian and family-based immigration law firm called Zimmer Law Group<\/a> as a case manager. My job is to prepare forms and affidavits with clients, and submit them to the immigration court<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0USCIS<\/a> (United States Citizenship and Immigration Services) so that clients may achieve legal status in the United States and, in some cases, avoid deportation. I currently manage around 110 cases, and work with clients almost exclusively in Spanish. I use the skills I learned in the philosophy major daily.<\/p>\n
