{"id":4746,"date":"2023-12-17T22:08:35","date_gmt":"2023-12-18T04:08:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wp.stolaf.edu\/physics\/?page_id=4746"},"modified":"2023-12-17T22:08:35","modified_gmt":"2023-12-18T04:08:35","slug":"overview","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/wp.stolaf.edu\/physics\/overview\/","title":{"rendered":"Overview"},"content":{"rendered":"<div data-modular-content-collection>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"what-is-a-team-up-project\">What is a TEAM-UP Project?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The TEAM-UP project at St. Olaf represents our local implementation of nationwide efforts to transform physics communities.<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Our project has three components:<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1) Fostering students\u2019 sense of belonging<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2) Developing students\u2019 identity as physicists<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3) Strengthening the connections between students, faculty, and staff<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Since the fall of 2020, TEAM-UP association has organized various events to work toward these targets, including group discussions on micro-aggression, \u201cphun\u201d challenges and games, and virtual alumni meetings.<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">We aim to create sustainable and long-lasting change in the physics department that will support students of all identity groups.<\/h5>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What is a TEAM-UP Project?
