The Division of Research and Statistics have a number of openings for Research Assistants under the Corporation\u2019s Fellows Program. Qualifications: a B.A. or B.S. degree in economics, business (finance), mathematics, statistics or closely related fields, which includes: twenty one semester hours of economics plus three hours of statistics, calculus or accounting, computer programming, and a solid background in mathematics\/statistics. Positions are located in Washington, D.C. headquarters of the FDIC. Starting salary approximately $34,000 per year, as of Nov 2000. Candidates must have a minimum cumulative GPA above 3.0. FPA believes that everyone needs objective advice to make informed financial decisions and that when seeking the advice of a financial planner; the planner should be a CERTIFIED\u00a0FINANCIAL\u00a0PLANNER™ licensee. The FPA offers four types of scholarships.\u00a0The Montgomery Scholarship Fund,\u00a0FPA Residency Scholarship Program,\u00a0Monthly MN FPA Meeting Scholarship,\u00a0Students \u2013 Symposium Scholarship. Each year, our faculty pursue approximately 500 research and course development projects in which RAs play a vital role. You may help to write and revise case studies \u2013 firsthand accounts of important business management issues that are the primary form of instruction at HBS \u2013 and gather and analyze data for research articles and books at the forefront of business knowledge. We hire more than 200 RAs each year, in full- and part-time positions. There is no typical RA assignment, and no two positions are alike. A variety of work arrangements are offered. Education background: BA or advanced degree with outstanding academic record; Excellent research, analytical, writing, communication and organizational skills. The Ruder Finn Public Relations Executive Training Program<\/a>*<\/h4>\n

Offered three times a year in its New York City headquarters, of 3 \u2013 5 months duration. The Executive Training Program is for college graduates who have at least a Bachelor\u2019s Degree. Executive Trainees work full-time and also attend weekly classes. As integral members of account teams, Executive Trainees gain exposure to every facet of the public relations business. The 19-year-old Executive Training Program is well-known. Entry level employees rarely are hired by Ruder Finn without having completed the Program. The company hires the best graduates of the program to fill its Assistant Account Executive positions. There are no guarantees of a job offer but an average of one out of every two program participants is hired or extended.

Roy H. Park Leadership Fellows Program<\/a><\/h4>\n

The Park Leadership Fellows Program was established in 1997 and is funded by the Triad Foundation (Roy H. Park and the Triad Foundation). It attracts the highest caliber MBA talent to the Johnson School, and rewards demonstrated leadership potential. The Program was founded on a leadership theme that emphasizes the development of leadership skills. As such fellowship awards are based on leadership qualities, professional and personal life accomplishment, past academic achievement, and commitment to community service and\/or socially responsible business.

The Minnesota High Tech Foundation (MHTF)<\/a><\/h4>\n

The MHTF will award scholarships to undergraduate students in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) disciplines.\u00a0 These awards include six $2,000 scholarships and three $10,000 awards.
