The St. Olaf College Post Office assists Students\/Faculty\/Staff with a variety of postal services, provides mailing supplies, and handles all incoming and outgoing mail. Any packages containing substances not allowed on campus (alcohol, firearms, etc.) will be returned to sender.<\/p>\n

Notice:<\/span><\/h2>\n

The Post Office needs your help securing packages from third party delivery services this year. A third party carrier\/delivery service is any company other than USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL, or SpeeDee. We have seen a large increase in this type of delivery on campus recently.<\/span><\/p>\n

There is no way for us to contact these third parties, only the buyer has the ability to do so. Because packages are often left after official business hours and left in unsecured locations, we cannot guarantee secured delivery from these companies.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What you can do:<\/span><\/h4>\n

1. If you see unattended packages on campus, please notify the post office immediately. DO NOT attempt to deliver the package to its recipient yourself. Call (507-786-3326) or email us (post-office@stolaf.edu).<\/span><\/p>\n

2. Use caution when ordering from the following companies, as they use third party delivery services:<\/span><\/p>\n

  • AliExpress<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Walmart<\/span><\/li>\n

  • And many more\u2026.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    3. It <\/span>may<\/span><\/i> help to add \u201cBuntrock Commons\u201d to the address, though we have not tested it.<\/span><\/p>\n

    4. If you are notified by a third party delivery service that your package has been delivered outside of post office hours and need assistance locating your package, please come to the post office during business hours for help.<\/span><\/p>\n
