College Goals 2023-24<\/strong><\/h2>\n
Goal I: <\/em><\/strong>Enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion, with a particular focus on sense of belonging.<\/h5>\n
    \n
  1. Understand the barriers to retention and belonging.<\/li>\n
  2. Develop priorities to increase retention and sense of belonging for all members of the community.<\/li>\n
  3. Engage faculty, staff, and students in meaningful learning growth opportunities.<\/li>\n
  4. Celebrate accomplishments in our Spring 2024 Diversity Event.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
    Goal II: <\/em><\/strong>Advance academic excellence by:<\/h5>\n
      \n
    1. 1. Launching the new collaborative academic advising model and flexible 4-year pathway, with program development informed by student success and assessment data.<\/li>\n
    2. Initiating work on the Student Information component of the new Oracle Enterprise Information System in support of effective advising, mentoring, and academic support.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
      Goal III: <\/em><\/strong>Further strengthen community within St. Olaf and with our Northfield neighbors.<\/h5>\n
        \n
      1. Create a safer St. Olaf by:\n
          \n
        • Identifying and acting on prioritized recommendation of campus safety consultants.<\/li>\n
        • Engaging the St. Olaf community in enhancing safety awareness and emergency preparedness.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
        • Complete preparations for the celebration of the college’s sesquicentennial in 2024.<\/li>\n
        • Launch a community-based planning process that delivers a new strategic plan by the May 2024 Board of Regents meeting.<\/li>\n
        • Extend partnerships with the City of Northfield to support achievement of the goal of carbon neutrality by 2040.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
          Goal IV: <\/em><\/strong>Advance St. Olaf’s fiscal and physical sustainability.<\/h5>\n
            \n
          1. Achieve the Enrollment Plan for AY2024-25.<\/li>\n
          2. Achieve the Advancement Plan for FY2023-24.<\/li>\n
          3. Prepare and achieve a balanced final FY2023-24 operating budget.<\/li>\n
          4. Continue to implement successfully the new Oracle Enterprise Information System.<\/li>\n
          5. Complete preparations to renovate the Hilleboe and Kittelsby residence halls, with renovations anticipated to commence on\u00a0 June 1, 2024.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
