St. Olaf is committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.\u00a0 In support of this commitment, St. Olaf prohibits the possession and\/or use of weapons, regardless of their legality, on college premises to include firearms, edged weapons (knives, swords, etc) over 6 inches, chemical irritants (mace, pepper spray, etc.) and conducted energy weapons (tasers, stun guns, etc.). Also prohibited are the use, possession or manufacture of explosives, including, but not limited to fireworks.<\/p>\n

With regard to off-campus activities, faculty, staff and students are also prohibited from possessing weapons while operating college vehicles, while engaging in college business, or while participating in a St. Olaf event.\u00a0 This weapons prohibition does not apply to authorized security or law enforcement personnel.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n\n
