\n\t\t\t\t\t\tThe Outdoor Trip Program offers a comprehensive, inclusive, and well-rounded outdoor experience. We provide transportation, essential gear, experienced guides, and a detailed itinerary for each trip. Meals are provided depending on the duration of the trip. If the cost of attending a trip is preventing you from signing up, you may be eligible to receive to receive partial funding from the CCOF.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/figcaption>\n\t\n<\/figure>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

If the cost of attending these trips is a financial burden, students may be eligible for partial funding through the Co-Curricular Opportunity Fund (CCOF). This fund is available to help cover expenses related to participation in events sponsored by the Division of Student Life, including Outdoor Trips offered by the St. Olaf College Recreation Department.<\/p>\n

The purpose of the fund is to create access for students to engage in the St. Olaf experience as a whole. As such, students who receive funding are expected to participate fully in their selected involvement. Students who receive funding for specific activities\/initiatives (travel costs, registration fees, etc.) must complete the activity\/initiative in full. Students who are not able to fully participate will need to return the funds.<\/p>\n

Additionally, students may be asked to share how additional funding has impacted their St. Olaf experience.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/article>\n\n\t\t\t\n

Students are eligible to receive a maximum of $350 per academic year from the fund. The rubric below shows how much a participant may be eligible for based off their level of need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

When calculating coverage, students will receive either the appropriate percentage of funding\u00a0OR<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>$350, whichever is less. Students that do not reach the annual cap of $350 from one request are able to request additional time until they reach the cap.<\/p>\n

*Level of need is determined by Financial Aid.
