Advising & Registration
Registration, Quiet Week For Advising, and the Drop/Add period will continue as scheduled. Advising meetings, the web submission process, and the drop/add period can be completed virtually. We recommend that advising meetings take place through Google Meet or by phone. Be sure to account for differing time zones when scheduling virtual meetings or phone calls.
Signatures for course adds/drops can be provided via email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
NOTE: The Registrar’s Office has a “NEED HELP?” chat button within SIS pages and Advising also has a LiveChat function should you have any questions.
Advising Meeting and Registration Timeline
March 17- April 3, 2020: Advising Meetings/Extended Spring Break
Advising meetings may take place over Spring Break if this works for both the advisor and student.
April 6-April 10, 2020: Quiet Week For Advising
All advising meetings should ideally be completed by the end of this week but no later than Thursday, April 16 at 4:30 p.m.
April 10-14, 2020: Pre-registration period
Thursday, April 16, 2020: Date HOLDs Must Be Lifted
All HOLDs must be removed by 4:30 p.m. in order for students to participate in web registration.
