The concentration does not lead to teaching licensure. This course, which is a prerequisite for most other courses in the Education Department, is not offered in the spring.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">EDUC 170 (January Term) and concentration elective courses outside of the education department can be taken in the first year.
