Student Organization International Travel

International travel is possible for student organizations.

However, if the US Department of State has deemed your destination a Level 3 or Level 4 travel advisory these steps need to be taken:
  1. Apply for special approval by submitting this form. (three months in advance)
  2. The Campus Travel Review Committee will review the form and, if approved, the student organization will be notified.
  3. The student organization will complete waivers and the Trip Itinerary form.
  4. Rosters and trip details will be forwarded to Public Safety and the Dean of Student’s office upon receipt.
  5. Anybody attending the trip from the student organization should attend IOS International Orientation prior to departure.
  6. The student trip leader will meet with the Director of Student Activities for a final review of the trip.
  7. Any special needs, such as luggage storage or early building access should be arranged a minimum of two weeks in advance.
