As such, students who receive funding are expected to participate fully in their selected involvement. Students who receive funding for specific activities\/initiatives (travel costs, registration fees, etc.) must complete the activity\/initiative in full. Students who receive funding to participate in a student organization (dues, training fees, uniform costs, etc.) must participate to an identified threshold (i.e. 70% of competitions) that is agreed-upon by the student and OSA staff. Students who are not able to fully participate will need to return the funds. To aid in making funding decisions for activity\/initiative requests, the OSA team uses the below rubric. Students that do not reach the annual cap of $350 from one request are able to request additional time until they reach the cap.<\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">*Level of need is determined by Financial Aid. The amount given is determined by the need and is subject to the availability of the funds. Funding from the Co-Curricular Opportunity Fund does not need to be repaid and is distributed on a case-by-case basis. Please note that funding may create a taxable event that could require reporting to the IRS by the recipient.<\/p>\n<p>Please submit the form below to be considered for funding.
