Insufficient sleep is associated with\u00a0increased emotional reactivity\u00a0and emotional disturbance.\u00a0Often, sleep and mental health disorders exist in bi-directional\u00a0relationship to each other, with each condition influencing the\u00a0other.<\/p>\n<p>Poor sleep can contribute to the onset and severity of mental\u00a0health disorders, and mental health problems can create and\u00a0exacerbate sleep issues.
