Transfer credit programs are completely independent from the Smith Center. Students will work with the program directly to apply, get support through the visa process, and register for housing and courses.\u00a0 The student will need to reach out to the program staff directly with any questions.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Investigate programs (scholarship eligible programs are listed below)<\/em>
    \n<\/span>NOTE:<\/em> F-1 students are not eligible to register for January Term transfer credit study abroad\/away programs due to the enrollment requirements of their student visa.<\/i><\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Read through the Smith Center FAQ\u2019s below.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Read through your program’s cancellation and refund policy.\u00a0 Be aware of any application and confirmation fees.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. Complete the program\u2019s application.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Fill out <\/span>Transfer Credit Programs Notification Form<\/span><\/a> to alert St. Olaf of your intent to participate.\u00a0 \u00a0Smith Center will follow up with you if there are additional steps to take.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\n
