Your federal, state and institutional grants, scholarships and loans may be used for St. Olaf study abroad\/away semester and year programs. You may revise your yearly financial aid request to reflect the additional cost of abroad\/away programs. Each program webpage contains a\u00a0<em>Budget Sheet<\/em>\u00a0that is updated each year to reflect the costs for each specific term.\u00a0 This includes estimated transportation, housing, meals, Olaf abroad\/away programs are eligible to retain the financial aid they would receive while studying on campus, with the exception that student work is not available.\u00a0 Scholarship assistance is available based on need to help in meeting the additional program costs.\u00a0 Students interested in receiving information about scholarships should contact the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/wp.stolaf.edu\/financialaid\/financing-study-abroad-programs\/\">Office of Financial Aid<\/a>.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Financial Aid first goes towards any accumulated charges on the St. Olaf student account (tuition, study abroad\/away program fee, health insurance,\u00a0 parking tickets, miscellaneous charges, etc.)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">If a credit remains on the student account, students may place an \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/wp.stolaf.edu\/stuacct\/procedure_sto-70\/\">Account Refund Request<\/a>\u201d through SIS to have direct access to the available funding for use while studying abroad\/away.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t<\/div> <!-- automatic scholarships, students may also be eligible for scholarships offered by St. Olaf College, their study abroad\/away program, and other external scholarship providers that require applications.\u00a0 Scholarships outside of St. Olaf have varying application deadlines and requirements, so it is important to explore scholarship options programs are billed in accordance with the fall <a href=\"https:\/\/wp.stolaf.edu\/stuacct\/billinginformation\/\">St. Olaf Billing and Payment Policy<\/a>.\u00a0 If a student is accepted in the fall
