The final activity is to reflect, using words and images, on influences that inform your identity and the person you imagine becoming. Students will learn a common vocabulary for music analysis and apply that vocabulary for studying a wide variety of styles, finding some familiar favorites and discovering new genres and go-to artists. In a collaborative environment, students will discuss readings, compile information on musical selections, and ultimately work together to create a community-based arts-related final project.
