In September of 2018, the Social Work Program at St. Olaf celebrated 40 years of fulfilling our mission \u2013 to prepare liberally educated professional social workers to ethically serve diverse populations and to promote a lifelong commitment to a just global community<\/em>.<\/p>\n

As part of the celebration, one of the founders of social work at St. Olaf, Naurine Lennox ’64, has generously established and endowed the Social Work Founders Fund<\/strong>. This fund provides opportunities for social work students to present their research at conferences, travel to distant field practicum sites, and participate in social work study abroad programs.<\/p>\n
