DataSTEM focuses on students interested in augmenting their STEM majors with advanced capacities in data science and statistics. EMERGE focuses on involving biology and\/or chemistry majors in early research experiences with faculty. Both programs welcome academically talented students with demonstrated financial need to apply during their first or second year. The day was packed with presentations about research projects in the department headed by Dr. Felicity Enders, Professor of Health Sciences Research, Biostatistics and Informatics.
