Two public performance spaces are located in the theater complex. The Kelsey Theater is a 320-seat proscenium theater and the Haugen Theater is a 100-seat flexible-space theater. These theaters and the adjacent technical support areas are fully equipped to offer students the opportunity to experience the art of theater in one of the finest facilities in the upper Midwest.<\/p>\n<p>Library, classrooms, rehearsal spaces, computer labs, and construction studios (scenery, props, and costumes) combine to produce a heavily used, efficient, and productive area for students to meet the needs of the curricular and co-curricular programs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\"><strong>The Kelsey Theater <\/strong>is named for\u00a0<a title=\"Elizabeth Walsingham Kelsey\" href=\"https:\/\/wp.stolaf.edu\/theater\/elizabeth-walsingham-kelsey\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Elizabeth Walsingham Kelsey<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\"><strong>The Ralph Haugen Theater<\/strong> is named\u00a0in honor of St. Olaf Professor\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/wp.stolaf.edu\/theater\/ralph-h-haugen\/\">Ralph H.
