Minnesota Public Radio (MPR) will present a live broadcast of the 2014 St. Olaf Christmas Festival on Sunday, December 7, at 3 p.m. The broadcast can be heard on most regional classical music stations, including 99.5 KSJN in the Twin Cities. An encore broadcast will be presented on December 18 at 8 p.m.

PBS will air the one-hour Midwest Regional Emmy Award winning Christmas special, Christmas in Norway with the St. Olaf Choir, as part of this year’s holiday programming. Produced by Twin Cities Public Television, this program was filmed in Norway’s famous Nidaros Cathedral. Joining the St. Olaf Choir and conductor Anton Armstrong is Nidarosdomens Jentekor, the resident girls choir from the cathedral. The National PBS air dates are Friday, December 19, at 9 p.m. and Saturday, December 20, at 9 p.m. In the Twin Cities, the program will air on TPT2 on Friday, December 19, at 9 p.m., Saturday, December 20 at 2 a.m., and Thursday, December 25, at 9:00 a.m. Check your local PBS listings for telecast dates and times in your area.
