St. Olaf College is a residential campus where student and employee parking is regulated and pedestrians are given the right-of-way on campus by all operators of motor vehicles. All student and employee vehicles must display a current parking permit to park on campus. Campus parking areas are designated by the type of permit issued by the Parking Office and restricted to assigned areas. Visitors to St. Olaf should park only in areas designated as “Faculty/Staff/Visitor” or ” Visitor Only”. Visitors who intend to park on campus for more than one day should obtain a visitor parking permit from the Parking Office during business hours or contact the public safety officer on duty for a temporary permit during all other hours.
