Campuswide video explains bias incident reporting process

The January edition of PDA’s Desk — a monthly video update that St. Olaf President David R. Anderson ’74 shares with the campus community — provides an explanation of the college’s bias incident reporting process.

At the invitation of the president, Chief Diversity Officer Bruce King and Dean of Students Roz Eaton sat down to explain how the reporting process works. They noted that anyone who witnesses or experiences a bias incident should report it using the bias incident reporting form linked prominently on several areas of the college’s website.

“As part of our ongoing efforts to ensure that everyone in our community feels welcomed and included at St. Olaf and to ensure that incidents of bias are easy to report and are promptly investigated, the college has updated the procedure for bias incident reporting,” President Anderson notes, encouraging everyone on campus to watch the important message. “Creating a bias-free environment at St. Olaf requires the commitment of every single person on this campus.”
