As part of a series on the cost of college, local ABC news affiliate KSTP highlights St. Olaf College’s commitment to meeting the demonstrated financial need of every student who is admitted.

“I think fewer schools today are able to say that they meet a family’s demonstrated financial need, and I think that’s a loss to these families and to higher education as a whole,” St. Olaf Vice President for Enrollment and College Relations Michael Kyle ’85 tells KSTP.

The station points to a report released in May by the New America Foundation, a nonprofit, non-partisan think tank, that highlights St. Olaf’s “remarkably low net price for low-income families.”
