Kathryn Thompson left secondary education, after four years of teaching high school English and coaching girls basketball and track and field at Pine Island High School. She begins her new position with Northeast Iowa Community College in January 2015 as a Career Coach and Mentor. She will be travelling to area high schools to help support students in finding career paths, internships, and mentoring them in post-high school job and schooling options.
