Two Ole artists are featured in the 2014 Minnesota State Fair Fine Arts Competition. Out of a field of 2,374 entrants, Rachel Butler and Sheila Novak were selected as two of 325 works accepted into the Fine Arts Exhibition.

Rachel Butler resides in Minneapolis. She has recently been participating in local art fairs, including the 2014 Edina Art fair, a juried event, and the upcoming 2014 Northfield Arts Guild Riverfront Festival. At the Minnesota State Fair, Rachel is exhibiting a mixed media acrylic painting titled Cathedral.

Sheila Novak, who accepted a 5th year apprenticeship after graduation, is currently living in Minneapolis. At the Minnesota State Fair, Sheila is exhibiting a bronze sculpture titled Against Disparity.
