Rahaf Qarabsa

I’m a junior at St. Olaf College, majoring in Biology with a concentration in Neuroscience. Originally from Palestine, I am passionate about sharing my experiences as an international student and ensuring that our voices are heard and recognized. believe it’s essential that our stories are heard and acknowledged. Over the past year, I have had the privilege of representing my fellow students as part of the Natural Science and Mathematics (NSM) Action Team. In this role, I am committed to advocating for academic support tailored specifically to BIPOC and international students. My goal is to help St. Olaf become a more inclusive and welcoming community for all. Our team represents hope, perseverance, and a promise for change. Our STEM fields at St. Olaf are in need of transformation, and by embracing the diverse passions and talents of our community, I believe we can drive progress in extraordinary ways. Only by uplifting and valuing diverse voices can we truly innovate and make a lasting impact.
