Greater Than Speaker: Stress and Trauma on Campus

Professor Patricia Frazier from the University of Minnesota will be leading a talk about the effects of stress and trauma, including negative effects and resilience following adversity. Pat will give basic information about the topic, engage students and discussion, and share her research on the prevalence of stress/trauma/PTSD on college campuses and how peers can be better supports for those who are struggling.

This would be particularly helpful for students at St. Olaf because stress of any degree is an almost universal feeling among college students. It would be beneficial to the campus community to know more about the varying ways stress can manifest itself across contexts and how to cope.
