Aleszu Bajak, Director of data visualization at the Urban Institute and former investigative data journalist at USA TODAY will be speaking on:
- How to tell insightful stories from mountains of data
- How to apply a critical lens to data and data science methods
- How to seek out expert guidance on a topic
- How to weave together visuals, narrative and code to present your findings
There will be refreshments available outside of TOH280 starting at 6:30 p.m.
