A History Club Symposium: The Issue of Israel-Palestine

The History Club is a venue for historical discourse. We intend to uphold this mission. On November 2nd, the History Club will host a symposium to discuss the current Israel-Palestine conflict. We aim to present an informed and grounded history, covering its geopolitical origins and present-day implications.
We recognize this topic’s upsetting and controversial nature; however, history is not a kind nor easy discipline, and we would be remiss to ignore this issue. This symposium is not an opportunity to air personal grievances but to provoke academic thought. We expect all participants to conduct themselves respectfully and rationally.
