AAPI Sci-fi Film Festival: Paprika

Students, faculty, and community members are invited to join the screening of Paprika (2006), directed by the late Satoshi Kon, in celebration of Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month. Students from ASIAN 130 (Asian Science Fiction in Global Perspective) will present this critically-acclaimed and mind-blowing Japanese anime, followed by an engaging discussion with the attendees. This event is part of the AAPI Sci-fi Book Fair and Film Festival, co-hosted by the Asian Studies Department, Academic Civic Engagement (ACE), and the Northfield Public Library’s Sci-fi Book Club, and sponsored by the Leraas Fund. The film is R-rated.
